We started out fixing washing machines out of a small workshop in Al Quoz, and honestly, most of our first customers found us through word of mouth rather than the website. That's still true today — a good number of the calls we get are from someone whose neighbor or relative used us last year. LG Service Center is a private, independent repair company. We're not an authorized LG dealer, and we won't pretend to be one; we're the people you call when the appliance you already own stops working and you'd rather not pay dealership call-out rates to have it looked at.
Over the years the technicians on our team have worked almost exclusively on LG appliances — washing machines, refrigerators, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, TVs and split AC units. That narrow focus was a deliberate choice. LG's inverter motors, smart diagnostics boards and TV panel systems behave differently from Samsung's or Bosch's, and a technician who jumps between five brands a day tends to guess more and diagnose less accurately. Ours don't have to guess as often, because they've usually seen the exact fault code before.
Every visit starts the same way: the technician actually opens the appliance up, tests the relevant parts, and tells you what's wrong and what it costs before touching anything further. If a customer wants to think it over or get a second opinion, that's completely fine — we'd rather lose a job than have someone feel rushed into a repair. Most of our vans carry the parts that fail most often (drain pumps, door seals, thermostats, control boards for common models), so a large share of repairs get finished in one visit instead of two.

A lot of customers try a DIY fix first, which is fair enough — some things genuinely are simple. But a few symptoms are worth calling a technician for straight away, because leaving them tends to turn a small repair into a bigger one.
Washing machine shaking violently or making a grinding noise on spin. This is almost always a worn drum bearing or a shock absorber that's given out. Ignore it long enough and the drum itself can crack, which turns a AED 300–400 repair into a full drum replacement.
Refrigerator running constantly but not getting cold enough. Could be a low refrigerant charge, a failing compressor, or something as simple as a door seal that's no longer sealing. We check all three before quoting anything, because guessing wrong here wastes your money.
TV with lines across the screen or patchy backlighting. On older LED models this is sometimes a loose ribbon cable — an easy fix. On OLED panels it's usually the panel itself, and we'll tell you upfront if repair cost is getting close to replacement cost.
Dishwasher leaving a film on dishes or not draining fully. Nine times out of ten it's a blocked filter or spray arm rather than anything electrical, and it's a same-visit fix once we're there.
Dryer taking two or three cycles to actually dry clothes. Before assuming the heating element has failed, we check the condenser filter and venting first — a blocked filter is the single most common cause and costs nothing to clear.
AC blowing air but not cooling, especially right before summer. Usually a refrigerant leak or a dirty outdoor unit restricting airflow. Booking a check in March or April, before the June rush, tends to save people from a breakdown in peak heat.
